État des lieux image

Over the course of a month, the Maison Gaudard invited to an ambitious collective project taking the form of an état des lieux of Lausanne’s independent art scene. Throughout the building, some fifty works by twenty-six local collectives were displayed, highlighting an essential but too often confidential part of local artistic life.

As part of this exhibition, Tunnel Tunnel exhibited a dyptic painting by Caroline Bachmann – 58 av. J.-C – , edited a publication on the local art scene – Espaces d’art lausannois de 1968 à 1998 – and set up a café with furniture designed by Tarik Hayward and Sophie Ballmer. During the month, the collective also organized two round-table discussions on cultural policies and future perspectives.
