For our tenth year of programming, we are leaving Place du Tunnel to move into two arches of the Grand-Pont at Place de l’Europe. For the opening, we are presenting two exhibitions: Virginie Sistek in Arch 18 and RM in Arch 17.
From now on, we will be open on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
We look forward to welcoming you and celebrating with you!
Virginie Sistek (*1999) lives and works between Lausanne and Basel. Graduated with a BA from ECAL and an MA from IAGN in Basel, she takes a critical and sensitive look at power relations between humans and non-humans and forms of extractivism. By imagining emancipatory and corrosive stories, she encourages the multiplication of perspectives. Her work has been exhibited at Kunstmuseum Appenzell (Appenzell), Abbatiale de Bellelay, Lokal-Int (Biel/Bienne), For (Basel), Forde (Geneva), Provence Magazine Pavilion (Zürich), Mario Kreuzberg/Salts (Basel), Egg (Zürich), Kunsthaus Baselland, Responsibility (Basel), Strrretcher (Basel). Since 2025, she has been co-curating the art space Mae West in Lausanne.
Virginie Sistek’s exhibition was created with the participation of Lucas Aulagnier, Paul Fritz, Mélody Lu, Océane Pasquier, Jorge Raka, Paul R. Levante and Jessica Völke.
