By imagining that a return of the monstrous as a form of otherness in the representations would allow to avoid the apocalypse, Collective Disgrace proposes an exhibition which invites us to take a new look at our relationship to the strange, with a touch of comedy and irony. Transforming Tunnel Tunnel into a monstrous cabinet or a haunted house, the forms presented in the show play with the codes of repulsion and fear of a bygone era in an attempt – at least in thought – to resurrect chimeras.

Collective Disgrace – Henry Drake, Ilana Winderickx, Pablo Rezzonico Bongcam, Sophie Conus – is a group of four young artists based in Geneva who are interested in the concepts of ‘the other’, the monstrous, and the strange. Together, they work to question apocalyptic fantasies by re-appropriating fear as a tool for collective action.
