And join us on Sunday, 3rd of December at 15:00 for a discussion with Le Foyer in Process:
Sunday 03.12.23, 15:00.

On the 3rd of December 2023, Le Foyer in Process travels to Lausanne to speak to Gina Fischli and Klaudia Schifferle about the development of their exhibition at Tunnel Tunnel. The two artists have been connected personally and artistically for a long time. Over the past four years, they gathered in defining moments to draw together. We talk about the process of collaboration between Fischli and Schifferle: how it is shaped by the dialogue between generations and disciplines of the visual arts, music and theatre; as well as by the course of intertwined lifelines that record farewells, upheavals and new beginnings. The event is in German and English, a cooperation with Tunnel Tunnel and part of the Off of Les Urbaines, Lausanne.

Gina Fischli (1989 in Zurich) first studied stage design in Hamburg, then art in London. Fischli’s sculptures, paintings and video works often take up motifs from consumer and everyday culture - such as handbags and glitter, furniture and pets - in order to illuminate the dynamics of desire and identification. Recent solo exhibitions include I love being creative at Swiss Institute, New York; her works are currently on view at Schaulager, Basel, among other places.

Klaudia Schifferle (
1955 in Zurich) attended the F+F School for Experimental Design in Zurich from 1973-1976. Since 1974 she has participated in numerous exhibitions at home and abroad. She works as a painter, sculptor, musician and poet in various media. Her works reflect the current Zeitgeist through figurative, poetic and abstract means.
