Matthias Reclus is a French artist based in Lausanne. He prints images, assembles objects, and focuses on challenging pictorial and written techniques to produce increasingly alarming forms. Fiction plays a central part in his work, often drawing inspiration from a technical glitch or a current cultural issue. He also creates experimental music inspired by krautrock, progressive rock, and poetry, and co-organizes concerts in Lausanne. His commitment to promoting art also extends to various publishing projects.
