During its summer break, TUNNEL TUNNEL is pleased to present exhibitions that remain visible throughout the summer from outside.
At Arche17, I’M STILL ANALFABETA by Cecilia Moya Rivera, screened every evening from 8 pm to midnight, presented with a textile work created in collaboration with Loreleï Regamey.
Cecilia Moya Rivera is an artist, performer and writer. Her research moves around translation, languages, colonial trauma and anger. For this project, Cecilia’s proposal is grounded in the practice of “eating poetry”, the artist invites us to reflect on the poetic and its performative aspect. Cecilia explores the idea of digestion as a way of examining colonial histories by invoking and attempting to embody her South American heritage, she whispers said-unsaid words and pushes us to reflect on coloniality and reparations.
The artist would like to thanks to Tara Mabiala, Juno B., Loreleï Regamey, Julie Sando, Camila Romero, Lukas Steiner, Myriam Ziehli, and Esfandiar Aminian.
